When to schedule a deep clean
Most owners book deep cleaning twice a year plus on event triggers.
March–April
Pre-season reset.
The apartment has been closed all winter. Dust settles into mattresses and upholstery. First guests of the season expect a fresh-smelling, fully sanitised home.
October–November
Post-season recovery.
Heavy summer use leaves grease in kitchens, salt on terraces, and scale in bathrooms. Deep clean now or pay double in spring.
After a long stay
6+ months tenancy.
Long-term tenants don't deep-clean. Before switching back to short-term rental, a deep clean resets the apartment to vacation-ready standard.
After renovation
Construction dust.
Renovation dust gets into every vent and surface. Standard cleaning will not remove it — see our post-construction cleaning.
Mattresses & upholstery
120°C steam cleaning for mattresses and sofas
Mattresses and sofas absorb sweat, oils, dust mites and odours over a season — none of which a vacuum can remove. We use 120°C steam to kill bacteria and mites, followed by extraction. Dries in 4–6 hours. Safe for children and pets — no chemicals left behind.

How long does a deep clean take?
A studio takes around 4 hours with 1 cleaner. A 3-bedroom apartment takes 6–8 hours with 2 cleaners. We confirm the exact time window when we send the quote.
Do I need to be present during the cleaning?
No. Most clients give us a lockbox code or hand over keys. We send a photo-report on WhatsApp so you can verify the work remotely.
What is the difference between deep cleaning and turnover cleaning?
Turnover cleaning is the standard between-guest service (surfaces, beds, bathroom, kitchen) — about 2–3 hours. Deep cleaning covers everything in turnover plus mattresses, ovens, A/C filters, grout, behind furniture and inside cabinets — 4–8 hours.
Do you bring all cleaning products?
Yes. All chemicals, microfibre cloths, mop, HEPA vacuum and steam machine are included. You provide nothing.
Is steam cleaning safe for children and pets?
Yes. Steam uses only water at 120°C — no chemical residue. Surfaces are usable as soon as they dry (15–60 minutes).
Can you deep-clean while guests are still in the apartment?
We do not recommend it. Deep cleaning requires moving furniture and using strong steam, which is disruptive to occupants. Schedule deep cleaning during a turnover gap between bookings.
